High Hopes

High Hopes is a hardcore and melodic hardcore band from Kentucky, USA, formed in 1999. The group plays a style rooted in straight edge, youth crew hardcore and emotional pop-punk, and the bio also associates it with metalcore and melodic hardcore. The Kentucky band splits up in 2002 or 2003, depending on the account, and some of the members later continue together as Driver Has a Bomb.

Kentucky lineup and releases

The band records two demos, contributes to several compilations, and releases a split 7-inch with the German hardcore band I, who later become Phoenix Rising. It also issues a 7-inch on Platinum Records before recording its first full-length. That self-titled album is released and distributed exclusively by Let It Burn Records. The artwork is done by Ryan from Initial Records.
