Heidi Vogel

Heidi Vogel is a London-based jazz and soul singer who first appears professionally as part of a touring production with Cirque du Soleil. She later becomes a regular presence in the London and Los Angeles jazz and soul scenes, and joins The Cinematic Orchestra as lead singer. That role establishes her reputation beyond London and draws attention to the rich, complex quality of her voice.

Career

By 2007, Vogel has toured across the USA, Australia, South Africa, Canada and Europe. At the end of that year, she performs a sold-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall and appears live on the Jimmy Kimmel TV show. Her work as a soloist continues to build critical support as she performs at major events and festivals.

Festival and live appearances

Vogel appears on the main stage at The Big Chill Festival in the UK in 2010. The following year, she supports Erykah Badu at Dubai's Chill Out Festival. Her other appearances include North Sea Jazz Festival, Coachella, Gilles Peterson Worldwide and Blue Note Jazz Festival.
