HeavyFeet

HeavyFeet is a UK production duo from Manchester, active since 2007. The pair work in the fidget house, electro and bass-heavy club music area, and also present a weekly FM radio show.

Releases and label work

The duo release material through the New York label Plant Music, including the Sawdust & Sultanas EP. Their output also includes a steady run of singles through a project called 12x12, in which they release 12 different singles over 12 months. Each release features a different vocalist and remixer.

Remixes and collaborations

HeavyFeet produce high-profile remixes for Skepta, Róisín Murphy and DJ Zinc. Their work involves regular collaboration, and they also document their production process on their official website.

Style and reception

Their sound combines garage and heavy house influences with detailed production. Their tracks circulate widely among DJs and in digital record collections, and their singles receive support from DJ Craze, Todd Edwards, Diplo, Skream, Todd Terry, MJ Cole and Roska.

Live activity

HeavyFeet tour internationally and have played a three-week run in Australia. They remain active and continue to release and work on new music.
