Heartworms

Heartworms is a Washington, D.C.-based indie pop and noise pop group built around vocalist and guitarist Archie Moore and vocalist and bassist Trisha Roy. Moore is a former member of Velocity Girl, while Roy also plays in Belmondo and The Shapiros. The group uses a rotating line-up of supporting musicians, including Chisel drummer Chris Norborg and Sabine’s Chip Porter.

The name is also used by other acts, including the project of English musician Jojo Orme and a pseudonym of Raffet, but the Washington, D.C. band is the U.S.-based group associated with Archie Moore and Trisha Roy.
