Hear Kitty Kitty

Hear Kitty Kitty are a rock group from the United States. The project centres on Nikita La Tijera Meow, also known as Kitty, who builds a reputation in Los Angeles and works with a range of figures from the local rock scene, including Tommy Stinson of The Replacements and Guns N’ Roses, System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan, Go-Go’s drummer Gina Schock, Kim Fowley of The Runaways, Ugly Kid Joe bassist Cordell Crockett, Chris Vrenna of Nine Inch Nails, and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Harry, known for work with Madonna, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and Pink.

The band self-releases its first album, Tails from the Alley, in 2009. The record includes guest appearances and songwriting contributions from Stinson, Vrenna, Schock, Fowley, Crockett and Dolmayan. In 2010, Hear Kitty Kitty signs an early record deal with EFM/Universal Records and issues the single and video Moody. The release leads to the group’s first national tour, with live appearances alongside Buckcherry, Drowning Pool and Quiet Riot.

After returning to Los Angeles to record new material, the band tours again in 2011 across the Midwest, Southwest and East Coast of the United States. It then completes a Spring Fling run in 2012, playing 17 shows across 25 states, with performances including Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton, Florida, and the Legends Of Rock Festival in Cape Coral, Florida.
