Hayden James

Hayden James is an Australian singer, songwriter and record producer from Sydney. His work sits in EDM and house, and he is signed to Future Classic. He also writes for other artists, including Katy Perry on her album Witness.

Releases

James releases his first single, “Permission to Love”, in 2013, with remixes by label mates Touch Sensitive and Charles Murdoch. His self-titled debut EP follows later that year. In 2014, he releases “Something About You”, which goes Gold in Australia and becomes a major streaming track across Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube. He then releases “Just a Lover” in 2016, which receives an ARIA nomination for Best Dance Release. In 2017, he releases “NUMB” featuring GRAACE.

Live work and recognition

James supports Disclosure and Odesza on their US and Australian tours, and appears at Australian festivals including Splendour in the Grass and Groovin the Moo. He also tours nationally with producer Dena Amy as support after the release of “Just a Lover”.
