Industry attention and competitions
He gains attention from figures including Malcolm McLaren, Annie Nightingale, Billy Ocean and UK producer Steve Lyon. He places third in LIVE AND UNSIGNED in 2009 and becomes a finalist in 2010. He also reaches the top five in Open Mic UK 2009, is a semi-finalist in the 2010 UK Songwriting Competition, and wins Best Solo Act in the BRIT Class Act Camp Bestival Competition.
