Hannah Trigwell is a British singer-songwriter from Leeds, England. She begins performing at 17, playing on the streets of Leeds for passers-by before building a large online following through videos of original songs and covers on YouTube.

Releases and online presence

Trigwell releases her debut EP, Hold My Heart, in 2010. The record reaches number 6 in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter album charts. Her debut single, Headrush, follows in 2011. Her YouTube page gathers millions of views and receives a large daily audience.

Live work and touring

During 2010, Trigwell becomes the second most gigged act in Leeds. She also plays sold-out shows at London Scala, Birmingham O2 and Manchester Academy. She tours with Boyce Avenue, including the UK leg of their 2011 European tour, and performs at Birmingham HMV Institute and Leeds Cockpit.

Recognition

Trigwell wins Best International Unsigned Act 2011 at the St. Helier Cider Online Music Awards. She is also a finalist in the FutureSound competition held at The Cockpit in Leeds, with the prize of a slot at Leeds Festival.

Further recordings

A later EP, Not Enough, is scheduled for release in mid-July, and she plans to spend the rest of the year working on material for 2012.
