Halo Blind

Halo Blind is a progressive rock band formed by York-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Chris Johnson. Johnson has also been a member of Mostly Autumn and Fish’s band. The group begins under the name Parade, which it later changes to avoid confusion with other acts using the same name.

Early line-up and first album

As Parade, the band releases one album, The Fabric. That record features Anne-Marie Helder on vocals, guitars and keyboards; Simon Snaize on guitars; Patrick Berry on bass guitar; and Gavin Griffiths on drums. Griffiths is the only other musician besides Johnson to continue with the project.

Halo Blind

The band adopts the name Halo Blind for its second album, Occupying Forces, which appears in 2014. The material is written by Johnson and new member Andy Knights. The current line-up is Chris Johnson on vocals, guitars and keyboards; Andy Knights on vocals, keyboards and guitars; Chris Farrell on guitars; Stuart Fletcher on bass guitar; and Gavin Griffiths on drums.
