Gun Ghaol

Gun Ghaol is a Scottish metalcore group that performs entirely in Gàidhlig, the Scots Gaelic language. The project begins from a social media video posted by vocalist Colin Stone in late 2022, in which he screams in Gaelic and attracts thousands of likes and shares within days. The band then forms formally in October 2023.

Recording and releases

The group’s debut single is Bha Thu Ceàrr. It follows with a debut album, Leum, in late 2024.

Live performance and line-up

Gun Ghaol makes its live debut at Belladrum Festival 2025. The group’s line-up is Colin Stone on vocals, Paul Martin on guitar, Finlay Cable on bass, and Stuart Findlay on drums.
