Grumbling Fur are a London, United Kingdom-based duo active since 2011. Their music is described across drone, experimental rock, folktronica and neo-psychedelia, and they are also associated with psychedelic, ambient, krautrock and experimental styles.

Members and related projects

The group consists of Daniel O'Sullivan and Alexander Tucker. O'Sullivan is also associated with Guapo, Mothlite, Miasma & the Carousel of Headless Horses, Æthenor and live performances with Sunn O))). Tucker is also involved in Imbogodom, Unhome and Ginnungagap.

Recordings

Grumbling Fur release two albums: Furrier, their debut from 2011, on Aurora Borealis, and Glynnaestra, released in 2013 on Thrill Jockey. The debut includes contributions from David J. Smith, Antti Uusimaki, Jussi Lehtisalo and Eetu Henttonen, who are connected to projects including Guapo, The Stargazer's Assistant, Amal Gamal Ensemble, Mothlite, PANIC DHH, Circle and Lusiferiinin Armosta.
