Goodtimes Goodtimes

Goodtimes Goodtimes is the project of singer-songwriter Franc Cinelli. He is born in Rome, Italy and raised in London, and his early musical education comes from his mother’s record collection, which includes Bruce Springsteen, The Police, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and Bob Marley. He learns his craft by playing frequent live shows, travelling on National Express coaches to perform in pubs, venues and front rooms from Hastings to Stornoway and back until he has enough songs for a record.

Albums and touring

His debut album, Glue, is released independently and helps him reach a wider audience. Contacts made online lead to several tours of the United States, where his alt-country and blues influences develop further. He starts by fitting in as many gigs as possible in a single night at Greenwich Village coffee shops, bars and record stores, before moving on to venues such as Pianos, The Living Room on Ludlow Street, Sidewalk Cafe and Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan, and Third and Lindsley and The Basement in Nashville.

Later activity

After Glue, Franc returns to London and signs to Danton Supple’s Definition Arts label, which releases the second album Goodtimes Goodtimes. Following a European tour, he continues playing venues in London.
