Good Luck

Good Luck is a punk band from Bloomington, Indiana, active since 2007. The group plays emo, folk punk, pop punk and punk, and is made up of Ginger Alford, Mike Harpring and Matt Tobey.

Background

The band brings together musicians who have played in Matty Pop Chart, One Reason, K-10 Prospect, Abe Froman, Mt. Gigantic, Bodyhammer and Los Gatos Negros. Ginger Alford plays bass and sings, Matt Tobey plays guitar, piano, clarinet and also contributes vocals, and Mike Harpring plays drums and saxophone.

Early activity and releases

Good Luck forms in 2007, writes its first song on 13 April of that year and plays 16 shows during the same year. In October 2007, the band records a six-song demo. Its 13-track full-length album, Into Lake Griffy, follows in 2008. The CD edition is self-released, while the LP is issued by No Idea.
