Goldheart Assembly

Goldheart Assembly are a British alternative pop-rock band from London, United Kingdom. They form in 2008 and remain active. The group begins as six musicians drawn from different bands and comes together through club nights at Covent Garden’s Rock Garden, run by James Dale and John Herbert, who later lead the band.

After a period of changing personnel and substitute players, the line-up settles into Goldheart Assembly. The band shares a strong interest in The Beatles, and its name comes from the Guided By Voices track “Goldheart Mountaintop Queen Directory”.

The band’s debut single is a double A-side with “So Long St. Christopher” and “Oh Really”, and it appears in 2009. Later that year, Goldheart Assembly sign to the independent UK label Fierce Panda Records. Their first album, Wolves and Thieves, follows in 2010.

In June 2010, guitarist Dominic Keshavarz leaves the band. Goldheart Assembly then issue the single “Harvest in the Snow” in 2011.
