Godzilla

Godzilla is an Austrian heavy metal group from Wien. It is active from 1989 onwards and is also associated with metal and death metal, including progressive and technical forms of the style.

History

The group later changes its name to Gojira to avoid copyright issues. Before that, it releases four demos under the Godzilla name: Victim, Possessed, Saturate and Wisdom Comes.

Line-up

The band forms with Joe Duplantier on guitar and vocals, Mario Duplantier on drums, Christian Andreu on guitar, and Jean-Michel Labadie on bass.
