Goatboy

Goatboy is a name used by more than one act. One version is a folk rock band from Ireland. Their music is compared with Camera Obscura, Arcade Fire and The Low Anthem. This line-up makes its debut live performance supporting KT Tunstall at the Olympia and later reaches the final of the Pick for the Picnic battle of the bands at Crawdaddy. It launches its debut EP, Moon After Yule, in 2010 and is described as working on its first album.

Another Goatboy is a Welsh four-piece that plays a fast mix of rock and funk. That group is now defunct, although some of its members go on to play in Johnny Thrash. Its releases include Superlube and the Dook Of Oil EP.
