Gnash

Gnash is the recording name of Garrett Charles Nash, an American singer-songwriter, DJ and producer from Los Angeles. He is born in 1993 and works in alternative R&B, while also being associated with pop, rock and grunge in listener tags. He starts out as a DJ at the age of 13 and later moves into making his own music after college, first by producing cover versions before writing original material.

Career

Nash releases his debut EP, u, in 2015 through SoundCloud. Later that year he issues a second EP, me, which compiles singles from 2015. In 2016 he follows with a third EP, us, which includes the single i hate u, i love u featuring Olivia O'Brien. That song reaches the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and goes to number one in Australia. He also releases home in 2016, which appears on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2017 he appears on MAX’s Lights Down Low, which reaches number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becomes his second chart entry. Two weeks later, home becomes his second lead entry on the chart. His debut album, we, appears in 2019.
