Giant Steps

Giant Steps are a UK dance pop duo active from 1988 to 1990. The group consists of vocalist Colin “Col” Campsie and bassist/keyboardist George McFarlane, who had previously released material under the name The Quick. They record one album, Book of Pride.

Singles and chart success

The duo’s first single, “Another Lover,” reaches number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1988. The track is also used in the opening of the 1989 film Loverboy. Their follow-up single, “Into You,” reaches number 58 in March 1989.
