Gerard Way is an American musician and comic book writer from Summit, United States. He is best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of My Chemical Romance. He is also a member of The Mad Gear and Missile Kid and The Mock-Ups, and he releases music through Sub Atomic Tourist Music.

Music

Way leads My Chemical Romance and also works as a solo artist. His debut solo album, Hesitant Alien, appears in 2014. He serves as executive producer on LostAlone’s second album, I’m a UFO in This City.

Comics

Outside music, Way writes comics. He creates the mini-series The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and The Umbrella Academy, the latter of which wins an Eisner Award.
