Frankee

Frankee is the performing name of Nicole Francine Aiello, an American pop and R&B singer from Staten Island, New York, born in 1983. She also appears under the name Nikki A on earlier recording work.

Career

She debuts in 2003 with a track on Louie DeVito’s Dance Divas Volume 1, recording “Making Love Out Of Nothing At All” under the name Nikki A. In 2004, she records “Fuck You Right Back”, also released in abbreviated form as “F.U.R.B.” The song uses the same musical arrangement as “Fuck It (I Don’t Want You Back)” and serves as an answer song to its profanity.

“F.U.R.B.” reaches number one on the UK singles chart in May 2004 and also tops the Australian ARIA singles chart in June 2004. Her first album, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, includes contributions from songwriters Makeba and Andre Deyo, with production by The Trackmasters and Grammy winner Rich Harrison.

Genre and other artist with the same name

Frankee is also a name used by a drum and bass producer from London, whose work includes collaborations with Basher, support from Andy C, Bailey and Crissy Criss, and a release on Ram Records’ sister label Program. That is a separate artist from the singer.
