Forth Wanderers

Forth Wanderers is an indie rock band from Montclair, New Jersey, in the United States. The group forms in 2013 and is active from that point onward. It centres on singer Ava Trilling and guitarist and songwriter Ben Guterl, who also uses the name Ben Special. Other members include guitarist Duke Greene, bassist Noah Schifrin and drummer Zach Lorelli.

Releases and labels

The band’s first release is the Mahogany EP in 2013, followed by the Tough Love LP in 2014. In 2016, the group signs with Father/Daughter Records and issues the Slop EP. In 2018, it releases its self-titled studio debut, Forth Wanderers, after signing with Sub Pop Records.

Career notes

Near the end of 2018, the band announces an indefinite hiatus after a mental health issue affecting Trilling. In 2025, it releases the single “To Know Me/To Love Me” and announces The Longer This Goes On.
