Fort Romeau is the recording name of Michael Norris, a London-based musician from Chester in Cheshire. He studies music at university and joins La Roux soon after graduating, becoming one of two keyboard players who support the group on tour and at live dates.

As Fort Romeau, Norris releases his debut album, Kingdoms, on the 100% Silk label. The project is associated with deep house, house, electronic, electronica and disco house.
