Flyte

Flyte is a Dutch/Belgian symphonic prog group from Breda, Belgium. It is active from 1975 to 1981 and includes Hans Boeye, Leo Cornelissens, Peter Dekeersmaeker, Jacky van Liesdonk, Hans Marynissen, Lu Rousseau and Ruud Wortman.

Background

The band is part of the 1970s progressive rock scene in Belgium and the Netherlands. Its music is identified with symphonic prog.

Recording history

Flyte releases an album, Dawn Dancer, in 1979 and a final single in 1980. The group also has a brief reunion in 1984 for a special concert.
