Felka

Felka is a West Yorkshire-based singer-songwriting duo associated with chillout, electronica, electronic and nu jazz. The group begins experimenting in 1997 with an improvisational blend of post-techno dance music and elements of vintage rock and jazz, and also works with live DJ sets. Its approach is driven by production and multi-genre arrangement rather than a conventional song structure.

The duo spends more than a year making its debut album, Stromlinienbaby. The album is then picked up by the German label Mole Listening Pearls and released in 2001. Felka is described as appearing alongside artists such as Geb.El and De Phazz on the label.
