Fearne

Fearne are a UK live band based in Bournemouth. They are a quartet playing lyrical pop with an acoustic, folk-pop leaning, and their songs cover subjects including Lily Allen, Formula 1, love triangles and praying for sunshine.

Line-up

The band centres on principal songwriter Alex, who performs alongside multi-instrumentalists Nick, Adam and Darren.

Career and recognition

Fearne win the 2011 Dorset Music Awards and build a reputation across the south of England. They appear at Larmer Tree Festival and Beach Break Live, and tour with Athlete, Feeder and Nizlopi, among others. BBC Introducing describes them as a folk/pop band with a moral compass.

Style

The band are noted for making larger pop songs feel intimate, and for a direct, personal approach in performance.
