Faze Action

Faze Action is a British dance music duo from London, made up of brothers Robin Lee and Simon Lee. The pair begin collaborating in 1995 and remain active. They grow up in Amersham in the London commuter belt and both take an early interest in music. Robin Lee studies music at Goldsmiths College in London.

Their sound combines electronica with classical, pan-African and Latin music, alongside strong influences from funk, disco and jazz. They first work together on the Original Disco motion EP in 1995. After that release, Robin Lee moves to Osaka in Japan to work as an English teacher, while the EP’s success leads to a contract with Nuphonic Records. The duo later issues the single “In the Trees”, which becomes their best-known track.

After Robin Lee returns to the UK, Faze Action releases its first album, Plans and Designs. The duo continues to issue singles and albums through its career, and its tracks are remixed by artists including Rae and Christian and Cinematic Orchestra. Faze Action also releases music on its own Faze Action Records label.
