Fatlip

Fatlip is a rapper from Los Angeles, United States, and a member of The Pharcyde. Born in 1968, he is associated with hip hop and west coast hip hop, and he is also linked with Bizarre Ride Live.

The Pharcyde

Fatlip is known for his work in The Pharcyde, the alternative hip hop group he joins in 1990 and leaves in 1995. His role in the group establishes him as part of the Los Angeles underground rap scene.

Solo work

After leaving The Pharcyde, Fatlip begins a solo career with the single “What’s Up Fatlip?” in 2000. His first solo album, The Loneliest Punk, appears in 2005.
