Fall From Grace

Fall From Grace is a group from the United Kingdom that appears at Download 2009. The name is used by more than one band, including acts from Seattle, Denmark, Louisiana and the United States, but the available festival information identifies a United Kingdom group.

The name is also associated with several different rock and metal acts. One is an alternative rock quintet from Seattle, Washington, whose sound draws on indie pop, punk rock and grunge. That group features frontman Tryg Littlefield and lead guitarist Brian Olson, has played with acts including Katy Perry, CKY, Hail the Villain, ASG, Alesana and Protest the Hero, and appears at festivals such as Warped Tour across America, Canada and Europe. It also plays Download Festival in Castle Donington, England, where it performs in front of a large crowd, and it is linked to Road 2 Hell Rekkids in Seattle.

Another Fall From Grace is a Danish quartet playing emotive rock with alternative metal and post-grunge elements. Its songs focus on relationships, heartache, emotions and personal experience, combining subdued guitar passages with heavier distorted sections.

A further version of the name belongs to a stoner and doom metal band from Metairie, Louisiana. That group forms after guitarist Jay Ceravolo tries to continue after Exhorder disbands. Wil Buras then joins as vocalist, the band records demo material in 1995, signs to Fierce Records and records its debut full-length in 1997.

There is also a US rock band under the same name that releases a self-titled album in 1992. Its line-up includes Jimmie Dudansky on bass and backing vocals, James Trunko on drums and percussion, Mick Khzouz and Ron Yakey on lead and rhythm guitars and backing vocals, and Charlie McQuillen on lead and backing vocals.
