Faith Eliott

Faith Eliott is a Minneapolis-born, Edinburgh-based musician, singer and songwriter. They are also a visual artist, working in drawing and sculpture, and they describe making sculptures, hoarding objects, and encrusting things with beads and googly eyes.

Background

Eliott grows up in Minneapolis and moves to Edinburgh more than a decade before the present. Born in 1989, they later graduate from Edinburgh College of Art in 2014 with a BA in Sculpture. During their studies, they also study puppetry and animation.

Work and practice

Since graduating, Eliott makes a record, paints murals at an owl centre, and spends time as an artist in residence at Art Farm in Nebraska. They use they/them/their pronouns and also note that they are good with a yo-yo.
