Everything Burns

Everything Burns are a UK progressive metal group from the south west of England. Formed in 2007, the band sits between emocore, melodic metalcore and post-hardcore, with a sound that also draws on alternative metal and rock. They are active from 2007 to the present.

History

The band signs to the UK label Rising Records in 2008. Rising releases their debut album, Home, in 2010. The album is produced by Mark Daghorn, who also works with Orange Goblin and Trigger The Bloodshed. Home contains eleven songs and is described through its fast pace, strong melodies and heavy sound, with a focus on emotional and melodic post-hardcore.

In 2010, the band parts company with Rising Records and continues to promote the album independently. They self-finance two videos after that split.

Singles and videos

The video for their debut single, “I’d Die”, reaches number 6 on the Lava Sky music channel’s most requested video chart and remains in the channel’s top 20 songs at number 15. Their second single, “Scars”, enters the Lava channels’ most requested video chart at number 4. A later single, “Ghosts & Angels”, is released with a video in 2011 and is named OurZone magazine’s video of the week.

Second album

The band later works on a second album, Take Your Aim. “Ghosts & Angels” is the first single and video from the release.
