Every Avenue

Every Avenue are an American pop punk and pop rock band from the Motor City, active since 2004. The group is a five-piece line-up with Dave Strauchman on vocals and piano, Josh on guitar and backing vocals, Jimmie on guitar and backing vocals, Matt on bass and backing vocals, and Dennis on drums.

Style and albums

The band plays melodic rock with a pop punk edge, and their songs are described as exploring lust, temptation and self-acceptance. Their third full-length album is Bad Habits, which contains 10 tracks and shows a darker side to their sound while keeping the band’s strong emphasis on hooks and melody.

Career

Every Avenue build their profile through constant touring and live work, including tours with All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station and Hey Monday. They also appear on the Vans Warped Tour. The band gains wider attention through coverage in Alternative Press, which names them among its Most Anticipated Albums for 2011.

Notable single

The single “Tell Me I’m A Wreck” receives heavy airplay on Sirius Hits 1, spends several weeks on the 20 on 20 chart in autumn 2010, and appears on MTV2. The track’s video is also named Kerrang! TV’s Video of the Week.
