Evarose

Evarose is a British all-female rock band formed in late 2010. Their music sits in pop rock and rock, with a strong alternative rock edge.

Early releases and first attention

The band first draws attention with the video for debut single We Can Pretend Anyway. The video appears on Scuzz TV and Kerrang! TV and gains nearly 100,000 views online. This leads to the release of the band’s debut EP, Creation Divide, in 2011. The five-track record is described as a polished release with memorable hooks and receives favourable attention from the UK music press.

Live activity and touring

In 2011, Evarose plays Hit The Deck Festival alongside acts including Underoath and Deaf Havana. The band also begins its first tour in June of that year, playing small venues around the country. Later in 2011, the group releases the a-side Best Left Alone, which premieres on Rocksound.tv in December, and follows it with the EP Elements.

In September and October 2012, Evarose tours as main support for Straight Lines. At the start of 2013, they support LostAlone on tour. Their live schedule also includes appearances with Canterbury, Mallory Knox, Hit The Deck Festival and Y Not Festival.

Later work

In 2016, Evarose funds its album Invisible Monsters through PledgeMusic. The campaign succeeds and the album is released later that year.

End of the band

The band ends in May 2017.
