Empire Affair

Empire Affair is a German euro-dance group active since 1994. It is associated with bubblegum dance, EDM, euro house, eurodance, europop and hip hop, and the group includes A.K. S.W.I.F.T., Anita Davis, Jannet De Lara, Franca Morgano, Nitro, Richard Michael Smith and Mike Staab.

The name is also used in a separate scene for a Bournemouth indie-rock band formed in early 2011, which begins life under the name Echo before a change in personnel and direction leads to the new name. That band is described as a five-piece with varied influences and a sound combining energetic, punchy, epic and brooding elements, with songs centred on modern living, love and loathing, and with a reputation for lively performances on stage.
