Emma Pollock

Emma Pollock is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Glasgow, Scotland. She is a founding member of The Delgados, and she also appears with The Burns Unit and The Fruit Tree Foundation. Her work is associated with alternative rock, indie rock, rock and singer-songwriter music.

Solo career

After The Delgados split, she signs a solo recording contract with 4AD in 2005. Her first solo album, Watch The Fireworks, follows in 2007. She later releases The Law of Large Numbers through Chemikal Underground in 2010, and In Search of Harperfield in 2016. Her album Begging The Night To Take Hold is released on Chemikal Underground.

Label work

Pollock remains involved with the Glasgow-based label Chemikal Underground, alongside her solo recording work.
