Eli Escobar

Eli Escobar is a US DJ and producer whose work is associated with dance, electronic music, house, funk and disco. He grows up in Harlem in the 1980s and develops a wide musical palate from an early age, drawing on a broad range of listening that informs his approach as a DJ.

He has Puerto Rican and Greek family background, and his musical tastes are described as unusually wide-ranging, with interests that include comic books and Fleetwood Mac alongside club music. This mix of influences shapes the character of his sets, which are noted for their sincerity within club culture.

Escobar also works as a collaborator. He makes a track with Amanda Blank, the vocalist on “Might Like You Better”, and describes that collaboration as one of his favourite musical memories. He remains active as a DJ, continuing to perform and produce.
