Earthless

Earthless is a mostly instrumental psychedelic rock group from San Diego, United States. It forms in 2001 and is made up of guitarist Isaiah Mitchell, bassist Mike Eginton and drummer Mario Rubalcaba.

The band’s music is built around long, semi-improvised pieces. Although it is primarily instrumental, Mitchell sings occasionally. Its sound draws on classic rock, psychedelic rock, metal, blues rock, jazz and krautrock, and it is also identified with stoner rock and stoner metal.

Earthless releases its first album, Sonic Prayer, through Gravity Records in 2005. Its second album, Rhythms from a Cosmic Sky, appears in 2007 on Tee Pee Records.
