Dyscarnate
Dyscarnate is a UK death metal band from Horsham, England, active since 2004. It works as a power trio, with Tom Whitty on guitar and vocals, Henry Bates on bass and vocals, and Matt Unsworth on drums. Its style is described as brutal death metal, death metal, deathcore, metal and technical death metal.
History
The band forms in 2003 and begins releasing recorded material with the EP Annihilate to Liberate in 2008. That release attracts attention from magazines, record labels and fans, and leads to a multi-album agreement with Siege Of Amida Records for Europe and Candlelight Records for the US and Canada.
Its debut full-length album, Enduring the Massacre, is recorded at Foel Studios with Chris Fielding, who has worked with Primordial, Napalm Death and Electric Wizard. The record is made up of eight tracks and receives critical praise in the UK press. The band also tours extensively in Europe and internationally.
Touring and collaborators
Dyscarnate shares tours with Cephalic Carnage, Psycroptic, Despised Icon and The Black Dahlia Murder. Its second album follows the same recording partnership with Chris Fielding at Foel Studios and is mixed and mastered in Denmark by Jacob Hansen, whose credits include Destruction, Xerath, Trigger The Bloodshed and Aborted.
