Dvne is a five-piece metal band from Edinburgh, Scotland, active since 2013. Its sound sits across post-metal, progressive metal, sludge metal and stoner metal, with influences that also include doom and progressive rock.

The band combines heavy riffs with melodic textures and uses a sci-fi theme in its music and imagery. Its material is described as moving through an epic dark science-fiction setting with touches of psychedelia. The phrase “Kwisatz Haderach” is part of that concept.
