Duncan Chisholm

Duncan Chisholm is a fiddler from Inverness, Scotland. He is best known as a founding member of Wolfstone and also plays with Blazin’ Fiddles. He has toured extensively with a number of acts, including Session A9 and the Julie Fowlis band.

His early musical training comes from Donald Riddell, and he is regarded as an exponent of the Highland fiddle tradition. His playing combines that tradition with his own style and personal influences.

Chisholm releases solo albums of his own, beginning with Redpoint. His other albums include The Door of Saints, Farrar, Canaich and Affric. Farrar wins the MG Scots Alba Album of the Year award in 2007.
