Duffstep

Duffstep is the project of Jeremy Duffy, a London-based electronic artist and one of the founders of the label Join The Dots. Under the Duffstep name, Duffy releases music in dubstep, ambient and bass-oriented electronic styles, with his debut album Getting To Sirius built around dub-influenced down-tempo rhythms, soft melodic textures, synths and vocals, and heavy basslines.

His music appears on Join The Dots, Saigon Recordings and Electric Minds. He also performs DJ sets and live audiovisual shows around the UK, and works with VJ Rebel Overlay on a large-scale live show.

Duffstep shares stages with a number of electronic artists including Flying Lotus, Martyn, Kode 9, King Midas Sound, Pinch, Commix, Ramadanman and Pariah.

Getting To Sirius moves between hazy, early-morning atmospheres and more forceful, bass-driven passages. The project is associated with dubstep, ambient, electronic, disco and bass music.
