Droids

Droids are a French disco and electro-disco group from France, active from 1977 to the present. The group is made up of Fabrice Cuitad and Yves Hayat.

They are associated with space disco and synth-based electronic styles, and are described as a French “sci-fi disco” act. Their best-known recording is the single “(Do You Have) The Force” from 1977.

The group releases one album, Star Peace, which appears in 1978 on the Barclay label. Their catalogue is small, with that album and the single forming the main part of their recorded output.
