Dreamers

Dreamers are a Brooklyn indie rock band that blends 1970s punk and power pop with an electro-leaning edge. The group consists of Nick Wold on vocals and guitar and Nelson on bass and backing vocals.

Formation and releases

Dreamers first appear in November 2014 with a self-released self-titled debut EP. Their early material draws attention for combining direct, energetic songwriting with a melodic style that sits between punk and pop.

Recognition and radio play

The band receives coverage from publications and music sites including Billboard, Spin, Alternative Press, Vice Noisey and Guitar World, alongside support from blogs such as The Wild Honey Pie, Earmilk and Baeble. Their single “Wolves” reaches SiriusXM’s AltNation in full rotation, enters the Alt18 Countdown based on fan votes and peaks at number seven. It also receives airplay on KROQ and reaches number two on alternative specialty radio’s FMQB and KKBB singles charts.

Live activity and collaborations

Dreamers share stages with The Vaccines, The 1975, Bear Hands, Walk The Moon, Stone Temple Pilots, Oberhofer and Broncho. They are associated with Fairfax Recordings for a follow-up LP.
