Downtown Party Network

Downtown Party Network is a Lithuanian duo made up of DJ Saulty and producer Bradka. The project forms in Vilnius and works in the disco, electro, disco electro and house area.

Background

Saulty spends about 10 years in the Lithuanian scene, first learning to DJ in his hometown before moving to Vilnius, where he holds a residency at Cozy, a busy downtown venue. He also sets up his own club nights at Woo in downtown Vilnius. His nights include the disco-focused Barbarella, co-promoted with Mantas T., and Spaced Out.

These events bring a number of internationally known DJs to Lithuania, including Pete Herbert, Daniel Wang, Pilooski, Toby Tobias, Richard Sen of Padded Cell, Optimo, Rune Lindbaek and Faze Action. Through this work, Saulty begins to move from DJing into making music himself.

Bradka

Bradka is an experienced producer and trained piano player who starts producing music in 2002. He leaves a professional piano career to work in a recording studio and has several hundred works created or produced for other performers, TV identities and commercials in his background. From 2007 he focuses more on his own material, and he works with San Francisco-based DJ and producer Andy Caldwell as well as the French label Tubetracks.

Project

Downtown Party Network develops from the collaboration between Saulty and Bradka and combines disco influences with electronic elements and a Lithuanian point of view. The duo’s debut single is issued on Eskimo Recordings.
