Douglas Dare is a singer-songwriter from Bridport and London. He begins writing songs while studying at university in Liverpool in 2008.

Early releases

He signs to Erased Tapes and releases his debut EP, Seven Hours, in 2013. Before that release, he tours Europe with the label’s artist Ólafur Arnalds.

Albums and songs

Dare’s debut album, Whelm, includes the tracks “Caroline”, “Nile” and “Swim” and appears in 2014. He follows it with Aforger, introduced by the songs “Doublethink” and “Oh father” in 2016.
