Double J is used for more than one artist, including a German drum and bass MC, an alias of hip-hop and rap artist Junior Jesman, and a Chinese female rapper known in Mandarin as 呆寶靜.

German drum and bass MC

As MC Double J, he is one of the few German-language voices in drum and bass, performing and toasting in German rather than following the genre’s usual British-language club style. His work is described as drum’n’bass with a kraut-influenced approach. He releases the vocal track “Jungle Fieber”, a German-language take on “Jungle Fever”, and the track prompts a remix contest among German producers. The resulting remixes, together with two bonus features, appear on the Jungle Fieber EP.

Other uses of the name

Double J is also an alias of Junior Jesman, a hip-hop and rap artist. In addition, the name refers to a Chinese female rapper who has a separate page under her Mandarin name, 呆寶靜.
