Dosage

Dosage is a psytrance project from Montréal made up of Mirko Corak and Goran Antik. Their music combines older Goa trance influences with more modern production.

Background

The project begins with Fruity Loops 3 and very little knowledge of audio or software recording and editing. After a year of focused work on production and synthesis, the pair develop their ideas further through sound manipulation.

They play a number of small gigs in their home country, followed by a larger step at audio engineering school in Slovenia, where they gain practical experience with tools such as Pro Tools and Logic, along with MIDI work and mastering. During that period they also perform at larger parties in Slovenia and Macedonia, as well as a few forest festivals, including events across Slovenia.

Style

The project’s sound is described as a blend of old school Goa and new school production within psychedelic trance.
