Dommin

Dommin is an American alternative rock and gothic rock band from Los Angeles, California. The group is centred on Kristofer Dommin, who sings and plays guitar, and is also identified as the band’s only member in the verified facts. Background

Dommin is active from 2000 onwards and works within alternative rock, gothic rock and related rock and alternative metal styles. Releases

The band releases an independent demo, Mend Your Misery, in 2006. It then issues the Dommin EP in 2009 and its major label debut album Love Is Gone on Roadrunner Records in 2010. The biography notes that six of the twelve songs from Mend Your Misery appear again on Love Is Gone. Later releases include Rise in 2015, followed by Rare and Beautiful Crutch in 2016.

Influences

Kristofer Dommin says that Depeche Mode influences his style. He also cites a range of vocal influences, including Glenn Danzig, Keith Caputo of Life of Agony, Elvis Presley and Jim Morrison. Outside rock, he names 1940s crooners such as Vaughn Monroe, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
