DJ Marky is the stage name of Marco Antônio Silva, a Brazilian drum and bass DJ from São Paulo, Brazil. He begins performing in the early 1990s under the name DJ Marky Mark and later becomes known internationally through the London club scene in the late 1990s before reaching a wider audience in Europe and beyond.

His work is associated with drum and bass and liquid funk, and he releases music through Innerground Music Limited and Innerground Records. He is linked with SP Collective and the duo project DJ Marky & XRS.

Recording career

DJ Marky makes his album debut with Workin' the Mix in 1999. He follows it with Audio Architecture in 2000 on Trama, then releases Audio Architecture 2 in 2002. In 2004, the DJ Marky & XRS collaboration issues In Rotation on Innerground.

Performance style

He is known for live sets that feature precise, detailed mixing and for building a close connection with enthusiastic crowds.
