DJ Dick is the alias of German techno DJ and producer Fabian Lenz. He begins DJing in 1984 and is the brother of Maximilian Lenz, better known as WestBam.

Labels and events

With WestBam, Klaus Jankuhn and William Röttger, he helps found Low Spirit Recordings and the Mayday parties in Germany. He also serves as a resident DJ at Mayday and Love Parade from the beginning. In the mid-1990s he stops deejaying so that he can spend more time organising the annual Mayday events.

Releases and collaborations

During the early 1990s, he issues several 12-inch singles and CDs on Low Spirit and contributes tracks to the Mayday compilation series. These productions are often made with Klaus Jankuhn, and on some releases WestBam joins them as well. After he steps back from DJing, he continues to release a small number of tracks on Low Spirit under aliases including Dicktator and T.A.F.K.A.D., as well as Worst Case Scenario with Hardy Hard.
