Diploid

Diploid is an Australian hardcore and grindcore group from Melbourne, active from 2011. The band is associated with blackened hardcore, grindcore, hardcore punk, powerviolence and punk.

Line-up

The group includes Scott McLatchie. Earlier line-up information lists Mariam on guitar and vocals, Reece on bass and vocals, and Scarlett on drums.

Diploid’s recorded output includes a split tape with Putkah, a split tape with Laeirs, the Diploid EP on CDr, In Heaven on tape, the single Diploid 7", Human, a mini CD, a split 7" with Canine, and the Deterioration EP.
